The original idea for the NRI brand was developed by Luka Malkovich, a serial entrepreneur from Europe and nonresident investor. Luka started Nonresident Investor to share his knowledge about purchasing US real estate and navigating the US market with other foreign investors and international entrepreneurs. However, it wasn’t until John Pastre, a US mortgage expert, came into the picture that the full idea of NRI was realized.
